Do Whey Protein Supplements Have Side Effects?
They say that before you begin any fitness regimen, you should get a complete physical and talk to your doctor first. This is a great idea. However, not only should you discuss with your doctor the things you’ll be doing in your fitness regimen, but you’ll also want to discuss with your doctor what you’ll be eating. People on a fitness quest know they must consume lots of protein. This can be in the form of a liquid protein supplement, a powder supplement, or it could be in bar form, much like a candy bar. You may be wondering, however, whether any of these whey protein supplements cause side effects. The answer is no, not unless you count increased lean muscle mass as a side effect. However, there are some who may get side effects from a whey protein supplement and that’s why you should talk to your doctor.
Allergies
A whey protein supplement can cause side effects if the person is allergic to anything on the ingredients list. If you look at a tub of protein powder, you may find a warning that some of the ingredients listed in the ingredients list have been prepared on the same conveyer as many peanut products. So people with peanut allergies must be careful to use that product as they may definitely see side effects from that whey protein supplement. If you’re not allergic to anything, however, you should have nothing to worry about.
Working Out
You need to work out hard for your body to actually need a whey protein supplement. If you work out hard, though, and you use a whey protein supplement, no side effects will be noticed because it’s just like you’re eating regular food. See, you should get most of your protein from food, but it’s almost impossible to get all your protein in the form of food. Not only is it expensive but it’s also very inconvenient. Whey protein supplements allow you to conveniently get your protein when you need it.
So you don’t have to worry about side effects with a whey protein supplement. Just make sure you eat regular food along with the supplements as you should never use just supplements in order to lose or gain weight. Eat healthy, work out, use a good supplement and you’ll reach all the goals you set out to reach. But, again, talk to your doctor to make sure you’re healthy enough to use the supplements so you don’t experience any unknown whey protein supplement side effects due to allergies.

is there any side effect on liver by consuming whey protein.
This site explains very little. There are a lot more issues at hand here. First and foremost is kidney disease and diabetes/high blood pressure. Anyone with kidney disease/diabetes/HBP must control their intake of protein, otherwise it can backup their kidney and cause damage or failure, or increase their blood pressure. Also, the amount of protein safely handled generally for an adult declines with age, protein supplements are not recommended for children unless monitored by a physician. In practice, low amounts of damage long term is generally not as bad as high amounts of temporary damage, but adequate studies of long term health effects of sustained higher protein consumption and/or exact mixes of protein powders have not been conducted.
Also, in the event muscles are suddenly crushed by heavy objects, he/she has a higher chance to die of rhabdomylolysis, kidneys get flooded and clearance is not increased by weightlifting. Other side effects include increased testosterone levels which have systemic effects.
many products on the market always have the possibility of side effects. Whey protein is one of these although when involved in intense exercise your body needs protein and the body doesn’t often fight off valuable nutrients which is what happens when a side effect is present. Instead the body needs protein so it will absorb it. whether your working out or not the human body needs protein and in most cases side effects are nothing to worry about with whey protein.
