Snoring is considered an annoyance rather than a serious ailment. Ailment or annoyance it can create havoc with a good night’s sleep for yourself or the partner who has to listen to it.

There are quite a few treatments available for snoring and you may want to look into them to find some relief.}

There are literally hundreds of products now on the market designed to give relief to snorers. You should be able to find at least one that will work for your problem.

Here are a few solutions. Some are very simple and others are very complicated and require serious consideration before implementing.

Nasal breathing products are at the forefront of the list.

As the name signifies the goal of these is to allow freer breathing through the nose. They are specifically geared to only nasal problems. You might find other products more beneficial if you have no difficulty breathing through your nose.

Let’s discuss a few of them:

These are best suited for people who breath through their mouth and need to breath through their nose These are helpful when you are trying to change from a night time mouith breather to a nose breather. They will not provide a final cure but will help.

Some changes will help provide better treatment. You need to practice breathing through your nose to prevent your jaw from dropping to your chest while asleep.

Nasal strips are common for helping with nasal breathing. They are worn on the bridge of the nose to hold the nostrils open. Athletes use these in competition to allow for better breathing while competing.

Another product are nasal braces that fit into the nose to widen the airway. These do not fall off so are more reliable than the nasal strips.

Nose clips are another tool that are supposed to promote blood circulation. It is thought that the they stimulate nasal passages to keep the airways open.

The Continuous Positive Air Pressure or CPAP is another tool that blows air into the nasal passages to keep them open.

The same basic idea is duplicated in other products like the AutoPAP and the BiPAP. These products are designed to kick in and take over if you stop breathing and are more suited for sleep apnea.

For best results make your selection based on advice from your physician.
